Sterk Find goes live in four steps: install the app, build your catalog index, generate a guided funnel, and place the entry point in your theme. No code and no theme surgery. Most stores are live in under fifteen minutes.
1. Install from the Shopify App Store
Install Sterk Find from the Shopify App Store listing. Shopify will ask you to approve the app's access: it reads your products, locales and themes, and can create a URL redirect if you later choose a short storefront path like /find. The app never asks for customer data.
After approval you land in the Sterk Find admin inside your Shopify admin. Pick a plan to start: there is a free plan, paid plans come with a 14 day trial, and development stores get every feature free automatically. Plan prices and what each includes are on the pricing section of the product page.
2. Build the catalog index
On the Dashboard, press Reindex. This reads your catalog and builds the AI index the funnel works from: titles, options, vendors, prices and short descriptions. Depending on catalog size it takes from under a minute to a few minutes.
3. Generate and tune your funnel
Go to Funnels and generate one. The AI drafts a guided flow from your own catalog: who the shopper is buying for, budget ranges that match your actual prices, and the questions that genuinely narrow your product range. Nothing is scripted by hand.
Everything in the draft is editable: question wording, option labels, budget ranges, which facets to ask about and in what order. Your edits always win over the AI draft. When it reads right, enable the funnel. On the Free plan one funnel can be enabled at a time; paid plans lift that limit.
4. Put it in your theme
There are three ways to give shoppers the way in, and you can combine them:
- Search takeover (app embed). In the theme editor, open App embeds and enable Sterk Find. Your theme's existing search icon then opens the guided funnel. The Dashboard has an Activate in theme editor button that deep links straight to the right screen. Optionally intercept typed searches too, so a typed query flows into Sterk Find's text search instead of the default results page.
- Find bar or button (app block). Add the Sterk Find bar block to any section in your theme: as a full search field with button, button only, or field only. The button style maps to your theme's own button classes.
- Direct link. The funnel lives at
/apps/findon your store domain. Link to it from menus or campaigns. In Settings you can create a short alias such as/findthat redirects there.
5. Verify it looks native
Open /apps/find on your storefront. The page should render inside your theme's normal header and footer, and the product cards should look exactly like the cards on your collection pages: same image treatment, badges, price formatting. Step through an intent and a couple of questions and confirm the results narrow sensibly.
